Several weeks after the New York State youth scholarship application packets
were mailed to Associations, USBC revoked the NYS BA's charter due to their
financial difficulties. As an organization, NYS BA no longer exists! It is
doubtful the two BA scholarship awards will be presented this year, but USBC has
not made a final decision. Applicants may still apply, just in case, but there
are no guarantees the scholarships will be awarded. ALL other scholarships -
NYSWBA, 600 Club, 500 Club and NYS Youth - will be awarded. Thank you, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
